Hear that sound? It’s the sound of millennial hearts breaking everywhere. Actor Clayton Snyder, best known for his role as Ethan Craft on Disney Channel’s Lizzie McGuire, is engaged to actress Allegra Edwards.
Snyder took to Instagram over the weekend to share a slideshow from his cute Thanksgiving holiday proposal. “Dear Allegra. Some things never change,” he expressed. “Except, a lot changed, and then it got very similar, but very different, but better, and now, your finger’s a bit heavier. And not just because of all the pecan pie. What a Thanksgiving. I love your laugh. I love your heart. I love your family. I love you. Looking forward to wifing you.”
He followed up with another sweet slideshow with his newly-minted fiancée. “A few more moments… A moment shortly after the ask,” Snyder wrote. “A moment when she saw my parents were there too. A moment that evening. A moment the day after in Bodega Bay. A moment shortly after that.”
Edwards added, “2009/2019 I get to grow older with the love of my life, for the rest of my days. 💍 I adore you Clay. Thankful is an understatement.”
Meanwhile, Ethan Craft’s character will have yet another romantic role on the Lizzie McGuire reboot. (The character was McGuire’s never-ending crush since middle school.) Actress Hilary Duff, who plays Lizzie McGuire, recently told E! News that Craft will be featured in the Disney+ revival of the show.
“He is hot. He’s very hot,” Duff said of the character. “I’m pretty sure there’s going to be, there’s going to be a thing.”
