Erin Napier Revealed That 'This Is Us' Fans Missed a Major Easter Egg Earlier This Year
Erin and Ben Napier recently welcomed their second daughter, Mae, and Erin revealed a fun secret for fans of both Home Town and This Is Us.
Fans of both shows were surprised by the clever Easter egg Erin posted on Instagram, and took to the comments section to share their reactions.
Erin Napier let fans in on a little secret after announcing the birth of her second daughter, Mae. Before welcoming their oldest daughter Helen's little sister, Erin and Ben had already decided on a name for their new addition. It just so happened that their close friend, Chris Sullivan, is also a cast member on This Is Us, and he snuck a hint at the Napiers' name choice into one of his scenes earlier this year.
Erin shared a screenshot from the show and turned her caption into an exciting tell-all, where she pulled back the curtain on the real story behind the notebook of names:
"An Easter egg from our friend @sullivangrams: earlier this year on @nbcthisisus, Kate and Toby were at the hospital awaiting their baby. Our friend Chris, who plays Toby, was writing down ideas for the baby’s middle name and he snuck Mae (and her middle name!) in there to see if we would spot it when we watched the episode. 😄"
Naturally, her followers were thoroughly entertained, and shared their excitement in the comments:
