Erin Andrews Reveals the Wild Way She Helped Travis Kelce with Taylor Swift

By now, fans are familiar with the beginnings of Travis Kelce's romance with Taylor Swift. The NFL tight end revealed on his New Heights podcast in July that he was hoping to meet Taylor during her Kansas City stop of the Eras tour and even made a friendship bracelet for her with his phone number on it. He wasn't able to give it to her at the time, but the two connected later, and it sounds like the new couple had a matchmaker in their corner.

Fox sportscaster Erin Andrews appeared on the Today show and talked about her involvement in Taylor and Travis's connection. Host Savannah Guthrie said, "You gave birth to this romance," and Erin replied, "I'm the new Bumble."

Back in August, Erin made a plea to Taylor on Calm Down, her podcast with Charissa Thompson. Erin said, "Taylor, I don't know what you're doing in your life right now besides rocking the world. If you are looking for a guy, please try our friend Travis. This is one, Taylor, I know we're not the best of friends, we're not even friends, but I consider you one. Take us up on this. Go on a date with this guy. Do it for America."

Charissa chimed in, "Do it for you, do it for us, and do it for the people. There is no one that would give you a better time than this guy."

Erin talked about her matchmaking on Today. She said, "I'm a huge fan of his, I work with him, he's great. Sent [my son] Mack and adorable baby gift, just out of the blue. So sweet. And I was just like, check, check, and check...I have left him alone, although I am gonna bug him this week, because I just want to check in. I know him obviously better than her. He looks adorable....He's got a glow to him."

Erin was even responsible for Taylor's game day outfit. The music super star wore a vintage-style Chiefs windbreaker from WEAR by Erin Andrews to the Kansas City Chiefs game. (It's out of stock but available for preorder.)
