Eric Christian Olsen Says Daniela Ruah Dated Someone 'Awful' Before Marrying His Brother
Daniela Ruah and Eric Christian Olsen play one of our favorite TV couples, Kensi and Deeks, on NCIS: Los Angeles. But off the small screen, Daniela is actually married to Eric’s brother, David Paul Olsen. David also happens to be Eric's stunt double on NCIS: LA.

How did they meet?
They went on their first date in February 2011, all thanks to Daniela's now brother-in-law, Eric. According to him, both Daniela and David were dating “awful” people, and weren’t able to be themselves. So he hatched a plan.
“When they got together, because he came on to do stunts, I would say something nice about her to him and then say something to him about her,” he said on The Queen Latifah Show in 2014. “That was enough to kinda get them started in conversation and it became this wonderful relationship.”
“Now two of my favorite people just had a third,” he finished, referencing Daniela and David’s son, River. We bow down to the master matchmaker!
When did they get married?
Daniela and David tied the knot on June 19, 2014 in Portugal, shortly after they welcomed River. Last year, she posted a sweet anniversary tribute to her husband that will melt your heart.
“Together for over 7 and married 4 years today! Everything is better with you: parenting, traveling, working, building life…. you motivate me to reach farther everyday. I’ll marry you all the time. Oh and you make really cute kids….” she wrote.
What’s life like with their kids?
In short, adorable. River is about to turn 6 in December, while her “peanut" AKA adorable daughter Sierra, is now 3.
The family of four is always out on adventures, traveling to Portugal, catching some rays at the beach, or snuggling up at home.
Are they close with Eric?
Daniela often posts photos with Eric and his wife Sarah Wright Olsen. The latter have two children, Wyatt, 6, and Esme, 3, who love playing with their cousins. They take trips together and never miss an opportunity to celebrate as a family.
