It’s just the beginning of June, and heat waves are already rippling through the country. When they hit, we look for any and all ways to keep our cool. Right now, you can get one for just $6 — that's 24% off its regular price.

More than 6,000 Amazon shoppers have already given this magical cloth a perfect five-star review. There are a few things that make it special.
The cloth is made from Polyvinyl Alcohol, or PVA, a non-toxic, biodegradable polymer which happens to be super-absorbent — it’s employed in products like cosmetic sponges and can be used over and over again. When it’s completely dry, it’s stiff. To activate it, just run it under cold water.
How it works
Once the cloth is saturated, it feels like it’s cooler than the ambient temperature and it’ll stay cool for up to 30 minutes. At that point, you can re-wet it with just a little bit of water and its cooling powers will be restored.
If there’s one thing we can count on this summer, it’s torrid temps. Amazon shoppers can’t say enough about how well the Chill Its works when the heat is unbearable and dangerous.
“Used this over this heat wave weekend for a soccer tournament,” a relieved soccer player wrote. “Dunked it in ice cold water and wrapped in my head, felt sooooooo good. Kept cool even as I passed it around to teammates.” Another relieved customer says it’s a hot weather must-have: “Works great, my husband has used it for the hot days doing construction, and I also just took it to Italy for our vacation during a heat wave. It stayed cooled and helped me to stay cooler.”
One amazed customer said it saved a fellow tourist from overheating. "While on a cruise, we went on a scavenger hunt on the Island of Aruba," they wrote. "It was a stifling 98 degrees and 95% humidity. One of the women in our group started to get overheated to the point of nausea and almost passing out. I had taken six of these with me, on ice, in a small rolling cooler. I got one out and place it around her neck. She literally cried from the relief she felt from this amazing cloth!!"
The Chill Its even has quasi-medical uses!
“Fabulous for hot flashes!” wrote an enthusiastic shopper. “I went through chemo for cancer and have a horrible time with hot flashes and these are great for them! I keep one at the office and one at home.”
For those who can’t get through a night without waking up in sweat-soaked pajamas, this cooling cloth can bring much needed relief.
“Love this cooling towel,” a sleep-deprived shopper wrote. “ It truly does stay cool for days. I use it for my night sweats and it makes a big difference in my ability to sleep like a normal person.”
Safe with any clothing
If you're concerned about the cooling cloth soaking your clothes, rave reviewers say your clothes will stay dry.
“I was hesitant to purchase this because I've tried other products that start off cool and then get warm and stay warm once you use it,” one convert wrote. “This towel is perfect. It feels nice and cold when you make contact with the skin. I like that it's wet, but doesn't drip onto you or your clothes. It's perfect for athletes or anyone that needs to stay cool in warm circumstances.”
With temperatures already inching up across the country, this summer is looking to be a hot one. While you could plan on holing up inside with the AC blasting, that’s not very practical — or fun. Think of all the backyard parties and outdoor activities you’ll miss out on! Luckily, Amazon has just the thing […]
"Effortless" is a term we sometimes throw around when talking about clothes that are cool and easy to wear. This wrap dress? Effortless! That wide-leg pant? Also effortless. Slip-on sneakers? No effort there. The latest innovation in low-fi dressing is the loungewear romper. Set aside your full-length jumpsuits and be amazed at these breezy options. While this head-to-toe look is already popular among the one-and-done set for daywear, the “lounge” qualifier adds in a comfy dimension of bed-frien
