Er, Addison Rae's Acting in the 'He's All That' Is Getting Pretty Mixed Reviews

ICYMI, Hollywood is having a big moment rn with remaking new versions of our favorite movies and television shows from the '90s and 2000s...much to our delight (the iCarly reboot) and our dismay (Fate: The Winx Saga). The newest victim project on the chop and block is '90s cult classic, She's All That, which Netflix picked up and decided to flip into a gender swapped version called He's All That starring Addison Rae.

Netflix dropped the first look of He's All That, and to put it quite plainly...some people love Addison's acting, and some people hate Addison's acting. But before we get into it, I'll let you decide for yourself:

Of course, Twitter swept in to let their opinions be heard loud and clear:

If it's any consolation, Addison says that she's been putting her all into filming He's All That. “I was taking [acting] classes probably seven days a week before the film started and [spending] like hours and hours a day doing script analysis...I definitely made sure to take it seriously,” she told Variety at this year's MTV TV and Movie Awards back in May. “I’m a little nervous but I did my very best and that’s all I can do.”

Addison's co-star, Tanner Buchanan (yes, the dude she awkwardly kissed at the MTV Movie and TV Awards), had nothing but good things to say about her, too. He previously told People that working with Addison on set “is such a treat,” and added that “she really came into this movie with so much drive, hard work and passion to show her abilities as an actor.”

Looks like we'll just have to wait for the movie to release and see what the critics think, no? He's All That will be available to stream on Netflix on August 27.
