From Engagement to Family with the Same Photographer
This may possibly be my favorite feature ever, and with thousands of Style Me Pretty features under my belt—that's saying something. This is the story of Lauren & David (and sweet little Avalyn!)... from engagement to wedding, from maternity to baby, L & D have called on Koman Photography to stand alongside them and capture their most precious milestones. Truth be told, The Komans are some of my very favorite people in the industry, so I can see why Lauren & David adore them so! Take a walk through their journey below—I have no doubt it'll inspire you to craft a lifelong relationship with your own photographer.
From Lauren... David and I met in high school while working at Jersey Mike's. We both went off to college and reconnected 3 years later during summer break. It wasn't long before we knew we were meant for one another and we got engaged two years later.When it came time to find a photographer, I was instantly drawn to the Komans' timeless, romantic, and artistic style. After meeting with John and Marlene, everything clicked and we felt so fortunate to have found them. They were very genuine, welcoming, personable and easy to talk with. We were nervous about taking our engagement photos at first and they quickly eased our nerves. They guided us, while being non-invasive, were easy going and reassuring. This enabled us be ourselves in front of their cameras. We had such an enjoyable time laughing and hanging out with them. We couldn't imagine anyone else taking our photos and capturing those intimate moments between us.

They were equally as enjoyable to work with on our wedding day and captured our day flawlessly. When it came time to take maternity and newborn photos, we knew we wanted them to document this next chapter in our lives.
