En Vogue Prove That They’re Still Style Icons at the Billboard Music Awards
En Vogue prove that they’re still style icons with their shimmering gowns at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.
R&B group En Vogue have had some seriously colorful awards show moments in the past. They showed up to the 1992 VMAs in subtly coordinated (and some very ’90s) suits with bright yellow and deep red accents, and they went to the 1990 Grammys in thigh-baring dresses emblazoned with intricate, eye-catching patterns.
For the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, however, the group went for a more neutral color palette. Rhona Bennett shined in a metallic, one-shouldered gown that cinched at the waist, Terry Ellis posed in an intricately beaded, semi-sheer black dress, and last but not least, Cindy Herron donned a plunging silver garment that appeared to be fringed with beads all over. En Vogue will perform with Salt-N-Pepa in what will undoubtedly be an iconic ’90s girl group reunion, but their glam red carpet style proves that they’re not stuck in the past–they’ve managed to effectively update their style for 2018.
