EmRata Wore a Skintight Hot-Pink Catsuit on the Streets of NYC

Emily Ratajkowski looked ready to film a disco music video when she was spotted on the streets of New York City this week—but it turns out she was actually working on a beauty commercial.
The 32-year-old model stepped out into the chilly NYC air to film a Maybelline ad, for which she wore a hot-pink, skintight catsuit that featured a halterneck top connected to high-waisted bottoms. To keep the pink theme going, Ratajkowski wore matching silky stilettos with a bow detail, plus gloves. She then added a dash of business-casual to her outfit with a black trench coat she layered over her neon ensemble. Oh, and how could we forget her accessories—those large square silver earrings that added to the electric ’80s theme.
From the looks of these behind-the-scenes photos, it seems Maybelline isn’t ready to say goodbye to Barbiecore just yet, because Ratajkowski’s outfit was chosen to match the product she holds up for the video, which is packaged in an equally bright neon pink container that would make Barbie director Greta Gerwig proud.
Ratajkowski has had a love affair with the beauty empire for quite some time. Back in 2018, the My Body author shared her five-minute date-night beauty routine, in which one of the products was Maybelline’s Great Lash Clear Mascara. As she applied the product to her eyebrows, the model said, “I don’t feel like a normal person unless my eyebrows are brushed up. To me, there’s nothing sadder than an eyebrow when it’s smushed down. So, this is a key step, and I try to do it pretty early on.”
