Empty Bowls fundraiser benefits people transitioning to permanent housing get meals

The 17th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser benefits a number of organizations that help people transitioning to permanent housing get good nutrition. St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore will host the April 22 event at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium. People who are hungry are almost three times more likely to be in poor health, so keeping the 85 families housed at the Hannah More Family Shelter well-fed is a top priority.
