Emmy Rossum Shares Rare Photos of Daughter for Her 2nd Birthday

Emmy Rossum is celebrating her baby girl!

The 36-year-old Shameless actress is celebrating her two-year-old's birthday, taking to Instagram to share a slew of adorable snapshots to commemorate the occasion.

Rossum—who is known for keeping her family life private—shared multiple posts to honor her daughter, whose name has not been revealed to the public.

The first snap included in the black-and-white carousel showcased the actress posing alongside her husband, Sam Esmail, 45, as they smiled at each other while their daughter sat in the middle of them, her face covered by balloons to protect her identity.

Other photos in the gallery included a snap of the birthday girl playing the piano with only the bottom half of her face showing, along with another image of Rossum looking out the window with her daughter.

The Angelyne actress also threw in a romantic shot of her and Esmail as they embraced each other prior to sharing a sweet kiss.

"She is two and I’ve never been happier," Rossum wrote in the caption.

Rossum continued the celebration in a follow-up post with more adorable photos, this time in color.

Rossum simply captioned the post, "Two," and shared three images of herself holding her baby girl in her arms. The shots revealed that her daughter was donning a floral dress that included red, pink, yellow, and green flowers, while Rossum opted for a white blouse and tan dress shorts.

The couple make sure to keep their family life out of the spotlight as Rossum managed to hide both of her pregnancies from the media.

Just last month, she revealed that she gave birth to her and Esmail's second child, a baby boy. "04.05.23 On a foggy Wednesday morning, our son was born," she wrote in an Instagram post that showed a photo of the child's footprints, birthdate, time of birth, weight, and length.
