Emma Watson and Tom Felton Think It’s “Sweet” That Fans Want Them to Date

Fans can’t get enough of Emma Watson and Tom Felton after the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special.

In the reunion, Emma disclosed her childhood crush on Tom and said that she “fell in love” with him during the early years of filming Harry Potter. Naturally, Potterheads spiraled into a frenzy over this comment, considering relationship rumors between the two swirled for years.

But in a new interview with British Vogue, Emma finally addressed the internet’s excitement over a possible Dramione romance.

“[Tom and I] speak most weeks,” she said. “And we just think it’s sweet.”

Emma has been dating Leo Robinton, a Los Angeles-based businessman, since 2019. Although the relationship is “serious,” the couple is not rushing towards an engagement.

As for Tom, he most recently dated British stunt assistant Jade Olivia Gordon from 2008 to 2016 but now seems to be single. He also commented on his connection with Emma during the Harry Potter reunion, but claimed that his feelings never felt overtly romantic.

“Emma and I have always loved each other, really,” he shared. “I was — I became very protective over her. Yeah I’ve always had a soft spot for her, and that continues to the day.”

“There’s always been something that’s like, I don’t know, a kinship,” he continued.

So while fans wish to see the two together, Emma and Tom have put the romance rumors to rest.
