Emma Watson Dons Embellished Alexander McQueen Blazer at ‘We Dare to Dream’ Premiere

Emma Watson made a brief appearance Sunday, attending the “We Dare to Dream” screening in London wearing a classic Alexander McQueen blazer.

The black blazer, which Watson paired with a cutout bralette, featured a decorative embellishment on the shoulder. The actress completed her look with bold red lipstick, black trousers and crystal-adorned heels.

“We Dare to Dream” follows five Refugee Olympic Team athletes from Syria, Cameroon, South Sudan and Iran as they compete together in the 2020 Olympic Games. The film first premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival in June.

Widely known for starring as Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” films, Watson is also regarded for her support of women’s rights, and is an UN Goodwill Ambassador. In 2022, she fronted and directed the Prada Paradoxe fragrance campaign, which was “meant to become a global feminine pillar.”

“It grabbed my attention. I really wanted to be part of something that gives women more strength, freedom, power and self-confidence. That’s what I feel when I read the story of why Prada Paradoxe had been created. I instantly felt that I have always been a paradox. Prada Paradoxe gave me permission,” she told WWD in 2022.

Watson’s last public appearance in London was at the Wimbledon’s 2023 tournament in July, where she attended matches alongside her father Chris and her brother Alex.

In the entrepreneurial realm, Watson and Alex teamed up to launched gin brand Renais in April. The luxury gin is made from upcycled grapes from the Domaine Watson vineyards.
