Emma Stone is someone we look forward to seeing on the red carpet in any year. But with two nominations for her at the 2024 Golden Globes, we’re twice as excited.
And she didn’t disappoint, wearing a delicate custom Louis Vuitton gown with a plunging neckline and high slit. Oh, and thanks to the floral embroidery, she blended in with the rose backdrop on the red carpet.
As for her beauty look, Stone went for flipped-out bob, a.k.a. the hairstyle of the night.
Stone is nominated in the best actress in a motion picture, comedy or musical category, for her role in Poor Things. In the film she plays a woman brought back from the dead by a kooky scientist (Mark Ruffalo)—but with the mind of an infant.
At previous premieres for the film, Emma Stone has gone for similarly delicate gowns, like the silvery blue slip dress accented with a periwinkle shawl, below, worn to a UK screening in December.
For the film’s NYC premiere, Stone wore a yellow embroidered lace dress by Louis Vuitton, accented with a floral brooch choker.
Stone was also nominated for best actress in a drama TV series for The Curse. In the Showtime series, Stone and Nathan Fielder play a young couple pitching a home-improvement show called Fliplanthropy in which they make over homes in the town of Española, New Mexico, when an alleged curse foils their plans.
Of course, Stone, 35, is a pro at award shows. This year’s nominations bring her to eight total Golden Globes nods over the course of her career, including a win in 2017 for La La Land.
