Emma Stone Stuns in a Louis Vuitton Suit and Pointy Pumps at ‘Cruella’ Premiere

Emma Stone arrived on the red carpet in a devilishly chic pair of pointed-toe pumps.
The actress stunned at the Los Angeles premiere of Disney+’s new film “Cruella,” wearing a sharply tailored suit, white pussy bow blouse and black stilettos by Louis Vuitton. The premiere was Stone’s first appearance since giving birth to her first daughter with husband Dave McCary in March.

Sticking to the titular Cruella de Vil’s signature red, white and black color palette, Stone’s ensemble was accessorized with a bright red Petite Malle clutch — a Vuitton signature — and a bold crimson lip. Glamorous accents included gold chain link and button details, a dagger brooch and mismatched diamond earrings, seemingly a tribute to the film’s 1970s fashion.
That Louis Vuitton designed Stone’s look for the premiere is hardly a surprise. The actress has been a longtime Vuitton ambassador and muse for Nicolas Ghesquière since 2017, appearing in the French house’s campaigns and ads. Most recently, she starred in the brand’s spring 2021 campaign alongside Laura Harrier, Jaden Smith and Angelica Ross, modeling the new Rendez-Vous shoulder bag.
Louis Vuitton has been Stone (and her stylist Petra Flannery)’s frequent choice for events, as well. The “Easy A” actress has worn custom Vuitton for both the 2018 and 2019 Met Galas, Oscars and Golden Globes, in addition to premieres for projects like “Maniac,” “Zombieland: Double Tap” and “Battle of the Sexes.”
Pointed toe pumps are another longtime style signature of Stone’s, which she’s worn for nearly every red carpet or appearance outfit since her 2009 debut. Stone has donned the full range of stilettos, from metallics and ankle straps to capped toes and slingbacks — and shows no signs of slowing down with this latest iteration. It’s also not the first time she’s worn a classic black pair, either. The actress showed up in a similar style to present the LVMH Prize in 2018.
The stilettos Stone wore to the “Cruella” premiere are both stylish and practical. After all, what’s more classic and versatile than a sharp pair of black pumps? We’re also considering this the official return of heels in 2021. The world is craving glamour as cities begin to reopen, so take this as the cue to don your tallest heels before hitting the town.
“Cruella” is already proving to be one of the season’s most stylish films. Aside from its villainous designer’s origin story, the movie’s already sprung fashionable collaborations with MAC and Rag & Bone, as well as a punky Ground Up children’s sneaker collection. We can’t wait to view the movie’s costumes in full when it drops on Disney+ on May 28.
