Emma Stone Puts a Beachy Spin on Business-Casual With This Golden Skirt Suit

Emma Stone looked liked beachside royalty in the glittering ensemble she wore to a pre-Oscars party hosted by W magazine and Louis Vuitton on Thursday evening in Los Angeles.

For the event, Stone wore a golden skirt suit from Louis Vuitton—but turned up the heat by leaving her long jacket hanging open, revealing a matching bra underneath. This also gave us a better look at Stone’s pencil skirt, which was made of the same striped, tweed material as the jacket and the undergarment.

Stone paired the set with matching heels and carried a black quilted bucket bag, which featured a golden zipper and golden hardware on the front etched with the Louis Vuitton logo. She also sported silver stud earrings and a few statement rings.

The actor was seen posing outside the party with the artistic director of womenswear at Louis Vuitton, Nicolas Ghesquière. The two know each other well, given that Stone has been an ambassador for the French fashion house since 2017. In fact, when Stone’s ambassadorship was announced that year, the brand shared the news on the official Louis Vuitton Instagram, calling Stone a “muse and friend” of Ghesquière’s.

In the time since, the Poor Things star hasn’t lost any of her love for the brand. Just this week, she attended the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2024 ready-to-wear show at Paris Fashion Week, where she wore a cream corset and matching bolero jacket with puff sleeves. She also wore Louis Vuitton to the Golden Globes, the Critics Choice, the SAG Awards, and the BAFTAs this awards season.
