Emma Stone is returning to an old look.

The La La Land star attended the Louis Vuitton Cruise Show 2024 at Isola Bella in Stresa, Italy, showing off her bob and curtain bangs in her signature red shade. The cut was done by Mara Roszak, who's been Stone's stylist throughout the Oscar winner's career.

Roszak gave a behind-the-scenes peek at prepping Stone's hair in an Instagram Reel, showing Stone's completed look at the end. "Two days in Italia with #EmmaStone," Roszak captioned it.

This haircut is similar to Roszak's previous haircut on Stone for the 2014 premiere of Birdman. In an interview with Yahoo! from that year, the hairstylist explained how the cute bob came to be.

"[The idea for it] was mutual, for sure. It had been something that we had talked about for a little while and then finally did right before Cabaret during the winter. The short hair was perfectly suited for all the dancing," explained Roszak.

She added, "[The bob is] so versatile—that’s why I personally love it. You can find your own version that suits you: If you’ve got great style, you could go for one that’s a little bit more fun, but if you’re more conservative, there’s something for you too. It’s universally flattering and automatically makes you look more put-together. You feel more inspired to dress the part because your hair is doing its thing."

Stone debuted the look during the photocall ahead of the Louis Vuitton Cruise Show 2024 at Isola Bella.

In addition to this 'do, Stone recently underwent a big hair transformation for upcoming film Poor Things. In stills from the movie, Stone is seen with waist-length black hair, looking nearly unrecognizable. Many on social media remarked that the actress strongly resembled Lorde with the dark tresses. However, it appears that Stone used a wig for the role, instead of dyeing her hair.
