Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield Spotted at Dinner
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, one-time beautiful Hollywood couple turned still beautiful, friendly exes, were seen having a very cozy dinner together at the West Village's Dell’anima restaurant on Tuesday night, Page Six is reporting. “[They were] looking very much like a couple,” a witness told the outlet. “They were talking and sitting very close. They were laughing and smiling. They both seemed happy.”
It's unclear whether their friendship status has changed; Stone's rep had no comment for Page Six about the dinner. But Garfield is in New York for the time being, performing in Angels in America on Broadway, and Stone appears to be in the city, shooting Netflix's Maniac.
Garfield told Stephen Colbert all about his wild first kiss with 30 girls Tuesday night during his talk show appearance-presumably before he went to get dinner with Stone later that night:
Stone was last linked to SNL writer and segment director Dave McCary; their dating was reported in October, but the couple was last photographed together in public this February. Stone has kept her relationships private, so it's not known whether the two are still quietly dating or have gone their separate ways.
But Stone and Garfield, who dated on-off for three years before ending things definitively in 2015, have said in interviews they still love each other. And Garfield has made it abundantly clear he remains one of Stone's biggest fans.
Around this time last year, when Garfield was performing Angels in America on London's West End, Stone was reported to have gone over to visit him there and attend his shows. (She was shooting Maniac in New York City, so that's quite a flight.) Two sources close to Stone told People in August 2017 that "the feeling between them is still romantic" and that "they never stopped caring about each other." They would date again only "if the timing is right," one source said. Maybe it is now.
