Emma Chamberlain and her singer/songwriter/rapper bf Role Model have officially hard-launched their relationship — on Valentine's Day.
Role Model, who's real name is Tucker Pillsbury, is 25 years old and has been in a private relationship with Emma for a few years now. While the pair kept their relationship lowkey, that didn't mean they were hiding their romance. They made their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March, and have made appearances together on social media.
"I don't know if I would ever have a public relationship, ever. And this is not coming from experience in any way; this is coming from morals. I'm speaking from what would feel right. Breakups alone are absolutely the most f*cking awful thing that exists. Why would you want other people to be heartbroken with you? I can't imagine that. And also, I don't like seeing other people's relationships. It's boring, and it's gross."

"There's parts of our relationship that are going to be private forever, and those things we keep sacred. But I don't think we need to be secret anymore. It's just like, I'm over that sh*t."

April 2022: Role Model Opens Up About His Relationship with a Big Influencer
Role Model did an interview with GQ where he spilled some deets about his love life. "When you fall in love, it takes up every ounce of your brain. I sat her down, one month in, and explained this: I've always taken pride in the fact that people who follow me, follow me. People follow me because they like my music," he said. "She has an insane amount of influence, and people constantly watch her every move. I don't want anyone following me for any other reason other than my music. She was super chill about it, but I'm still very scared."

Role Model, like many of us, downloaded TikTok in the heat of the pandemic/lockdown isolation boredom. While scrolling through his #FYP he first saw Emma, in a video of her "trying to twerk to a Dayglow song in the bathroom and surprising herself that her ass moved a little bit. For some reason—I don't know why, had nothing to do with the twerking, I'm not a f*cking creep—but it showed her personality," Tucker admitted.
The two texted for months before finally meeting in person. Tucker went over to Emma's place with some pizza, where they sat on opposite sides of the couch and ate awkwardly. #truelove.
