Emirates is taking its long-established reputation for top-notch service and adding a dose of privacy. This week, the airline announced it will start offering on-demand private jet service out of Dubai aboard its Phenom 100 aircraft. (The carrier, a longtime favorite of Travel + Leisure readers, earned the No. 2 spot in 2023's World’s Best Awards for Best International Airline, which were announced this week.)

The regional charter service will be available from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) for short turnaround services within the United Arab Emirates, as well as to Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. It includes destinations that are both in and out of the carrier’s normal commercial flight network.

Of course, the private jet service will still have the brand of elevated service Emirates is known for. While on the ground in Dubai, customers will be taken to DWC airport by Emirates' complimentary chauffeur service. Upon landing, passengers will be greeted by a dedicated representative providing VIP treatment every step of the journey. The escorted arrival will help speed travelers through customs and immigration at the private terminals. Customers will also have access to the lobbies of the private terminals before boarding.

The sleek aircraft can seat up to four passengers, pending operating conditions. Each traveler can check one medium-sized bag up to 15 kilograms (about 33 pounds) and bring a carry-on. The plane will be stocked with light bites and refreshments.

“The services offer discerning travelers with busy schedules privacy and a high level of flexibility, with a hassle-free ground experience,” the company said in a release shared with T+L.

To book Emirates' new regional character service, travelers can email eejet@emirates.com or reach out to their own travel consultants.
