Emily Ratajkowski steps out with new micro-fringe haircut at the Met Gala

If you haven't had the urge to pick up the scissors this year with all the fringe content we've been seeing, Emily Ratajkowski's new micro-fringe might just push you over the edge. Although the model debuted a new gradient fringe in a TikTok video earlier this month, we were wrong to think she'd just stop there.
Taking to the 2023 Met Gala red carpet, Em Rata casually stepped out donning said new itty-bitty micro-fringe. Although the centre of the bangs is kept short, the sides haven't been touched, leaving face-framing pieces either side.
In response to a reporter asking about her new 'do, Ratajkowski simply said: "I had a fringe already, but just went a bit shorter". She's keeping it oh-so chill about this recent hair transformation, but it also confirms that this isn't a drill people, she really has committed to this chop.
If our eyes don't deceive us, it looks like the model has switched up her hair colour a bit, too. Although the signature brunette was seen sporting pink hair just last week, it seems she's added warmer redder tones to complete the hair transformation.
New micro-fringe aside, Emily has kept the rest of her hair in loose enviable mermaid waves and added a chic bow into the mix. Makeup wise, Em Rata has finished off her Met Gala look with a smoked-out cat-eye and a nude glossy lip. We can't get enough.
