Emily Ratajkowski Pulls Off This Sultry New Skirt Silhouette

The model-slash-actress proposes a new styling trick in Oscar de la Renta.

Successfully nailing transitional dressing is always a tricky feat. Once summer disappears, embracing Fall fashion means your favorite warm weather staples are usually shoved into the back of the closet. But does it have to? Allow Emily Ratajkowski to offer an easy styling trick that will keep your lightweight summer scarf in the wardrobe rotation. The model-slash-actress attended the Wrap’s Power Women Summit this weekend, proposing a new idea with her outfit: fun pashmina as a skirt. Because why not?

For her appearance at the event, Ratajkowski wore Look 1 from Oscar de la Renta’s recent Spring 2019 collection, originally shown during New York Fashion Week and modeled on the runway by fellow It girl Bella Hadid. With its asymmetrical-sleeved blouse and printed, fringed skirt, the vacation-y ensemble is covered enough for a crisp fall day—but the overall aesthetic still clings on to those days spent at the beach. Ratajkowski accessorized the skirt with simple metallic strappy sandals and elegant pearl-drop earrings.
