Emily Ratajkowski and Julia Fox Are Both Wearing Tiny String Bikinis in the Dead of Winter

Emily Ratajkowski and Julia Fox are two of fashion's greatest risk takers—and they're both diving into winter swimwear in completely different ways.

On January 19, Julia Fox hit the streets of Park City, Utah, to promote her upcoming film Presence at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. Despite temperatures ranging between 19°F and 42°F that day, the 33-year-old actor opted to wear a white crochet string bikini…over a black turtleneck bodysuit, of course. Fox ended up going full snow bunny, topping off the unexpected look with a white fur coat and Sorel Caribou boots.

While Fox wore her version of the winter two-piece in ski country (you can see the full ensemble here), Emily Ratajkowski chose to ditch her own fuzzy wardrobe and frigid New York City weather for warmer pastures. That same day, Ratajkowski shared a couple of sunny selfies basking under an orange umbrella in a tiny blue bikini with cutesy red heart designs. (For anyone planning a Valentine's Day getaway, this might just be the suit for you.)

Ratajkowski's location may be more optimal for swimwear, but that doesn't mean her itsy-bitsy two-piece made any less of a statement. “Tundra escapes,” Ratajkowski aptly captioned her sunny Instagram post. Clearly, the 32-year-old model was getting tired of bundling up in her vast array of winter coats and other cold-weather accoutrements.

Fox also appears to be mentally preparing for the end of winter, though she found a way to incorporate her favorite summer pieces into her current wardrobe. It's called manifesting.
