Emily Ratajkowski's spring wardrobe seems to have taken a style cue from Sex and the City.
While out and about in New York City on Thursday, the My Body author put forward a sultry spin on the iconic newspaper dress, as worn by Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) in the cult-classic series. Though the fictional sex columnist wears a cowl-neck slip from John Galliano's fall/winter 2000 Dior collection in the show, EmRata's version of the newspaper dress hails from Miaou.

Ratajkowski's piece includes a ruffled asymmetrical hem, much like the original Dior slip, but it is instead backless and eschews the cowl neckline for a halter neck, a feature that allows for plenty of sideboob. She paired the dress with pointy knee-high leather Dior boots in a rich caramel tone. To accessorize, she coordinated with a black leather shoulder bag from Miu Miu, squared black sunglasses from DMY by DMY, and gold hoop earrings by Jordan Road.
This isn't the first time that EmRata has paid homage to Carrie Bradshaw's iconic outfit.
While attending Harper's BAZAAR Icons x Bloomingdale’s 150th annual party last year, the model showed up in a minidress similarly bearing a black-and-white graphic newspaper pattern. The vintage John Galliano dress additionally featured a deep V-cut, thin spaghetti straps, and a shorter hemline than its SATC counterpart. To finish off the look, she wore a black velvet coat, zebra-print knee-high boots, diamond stud earrings, and a shiny black bag.
