It's officially time for a Christmas treat, as Emily in Paris season three has *finally* dropped on Netflix (just in time for all those lazy holiday days, right?).

Our return to Paris has been a long time coming, and season three sees us diving right back into Emily's never-ending love triangle with Alfie and Gabriel. Argh!

Fresh episodes arrived on the streamer yesterday and viewers are already obsessed with the series' new cast members, as well as what we can expect from the (confirmed!) season four.

Some fans have been busy pointing out a major mistake when it comes to French chef Gabriel. However, all that aside, others have been super keen to praise the show for one particular season three change.

Yep, Emily in Paris might largely stick to the same ~vibe~ each season when it comes to characters, plot and outfits. Still, viewers have noticed a shift for season three - and that's the French characters actually speaking more French, rather than English.

Previous seasons have seen the French characters often switching to English whenever Emily or another English-speaking character enters the room. However, there's a change for S3, which makes a whole lot of sense considering the fact that language barriers/subtitles shouldn't stop us from enjoying great TV.

Taking to Twitter to share their thoughts, one fan wrote, "I’m so glad Emily in Paris finally has the French characters speaking French to each other."

"Love that they spoke more French in this new season of Emily in Paris," wrote another.

A third agreed, tweeting, "So happy to hear more French in Emily in Paris S3 between the French characters. 'Cause there is NO way a whole French office would switch to speaking English for one American employee."

Meanwhile, a fourth wrote, "Love that they're actually speaking French in Emily in Paris but I'm also realising wow I cannot understand French." Err, yeah, we're accepting the fact that we might not be quite as good at Français as once thought.

Here's hoping the trend continues for S4!
