The production design for the Pierre Cadault Retrospective was inspired by the 70th anniversary Dior exhibition. It was even filmed at the same place: Musée des Arts Décoratifs. Located in the heart of Paris, the museum displays a collection of nearly 6,000 objects—from designer clothing and jewelry to furniture and toys.

Other museums and galleries you can spot throughout show include Musée d'Orsay, Fragonard Musée du Parfum, Musée de la Vie Romantique, and Galerie Perrotin.

Eiffel Tower

“Yes, we filmed on the Eiffel Tower, and at Le Jules Verne, the restaurant inside the Eiffel Tower,” showrunner Darren Star shared in a press brief. “I didn't even think it'd be possible, but I think Paris has been very generous to us and in giving us access to amazing locations all over the city.”

While you may not be able to have these spots all to yourself as the cast and crew did during filming, it's still possible to check these iconic touristy destinations off of your bucket list.

Provence

In the same way that Emily in Paris whisked us away to Saint-Tropez in the second season, the third installment takes us to Provence during the region's lavender season. This typically takes place during the summer months with many tour companies and guides citing mid-June to mid-August as the general period and July as the perfect time to go for peak bloom.

Château de Montpoupon

The hot air balloon scene was shot at Château de Montpoupon, a castle located in the Touraine region of the Loire Valley. There, visitors can explore the château's various rooms. There's also a museum comprised of 30 rooms dedicated to the craft of hunting. Among them is the Hermés room, which takes visitors through the stages of saddle-making and features harnesses, saddles, and scarves by the luxury brand. Oh, and there's a taxedermy house if you're into that. Of course, you can also explore the grounds and take a nice forest walk. Bonus: You can take a virtual tour of it all here.

Clover Gordes

The L’Esprit de Luberon restaurant sequence was filmed at Clover Gordes. Overlooking the lavender fields and olive trees of the Luberon valley, the Provence restaurant is part of the Airelles Gordes hotel. It's spearheaded by chef Jean-François Piège, who devised a menu that emphasizes local ingredients and the art of cooking over embers. The cast and crew often returned to eat at the restaurant because they loved the food so much, according to a press brief.

Any design lover who doesn't know about this iconic location is about to become completely enamored with it. It's the ideal spot for indulging in drinks by the pool with a an unexpecting cityscape just beyond its walls. Designed by architect Lucien Pollethe, the Molitor hotel first opened as a Parisian bathhouse called Piscine Molitor in 1929. It quickly became a favorite beach club-like hotspot where Parisians came to swim and socialize. The bikini debuted there in 1946—as did the topless trend circa 1968. After a brief stint as an ice skating rink that led to its eventual closure in 1989, the building became abandoned. It was given new life as graffitti artists took to its blank canvas. After a restoration in 2014, the historic building reopened as a hotel. Architectural designer Jean-Philippe Nuel dreamt up the new minimalist interiors that pay homage to the building's Art Deco heritage and reputation as a global street art landmark.

La Nouvelle Eve is one of the oldest revue theaters in Paris. Situated at the foothills of Montmartre in the city's ninth arrondissement, the theater is more than a century old. Inside, the walls are covered in midnight blue velvet, the ceiling is dotted with twinkling stars, and the Corinthian-style stage with a multicolored runway never fails to impress. Visitors can stop by for a dinner show or catch an evening production.

If you're looking for more French destinations to visit, top off your Emily in Paris-inspired itinerary with these other locations from season three: the opera house Palais Garnier; the railway station Gare du Nord; the gardens Jardin des Tuileries and Jardin du Palais Royal; the church Basilique du Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre; the parks and square Parc de la Villette, Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, and Parvis Notre-Dame; and le mur des je t'aime (Wall of Love).
