Here's an "Emily in Paris" Season 2 Recap Ahead of Season 3

The time has officially come for season three of Netflix's whimsical dramedy, Emily in Paris. Season two left off with eccentric outfit choices, obstacles at Emily's luxurious PR job, musical performances by Mindy, and, of course, relationship drama with Emily, Gabriel, Camille, and Alfie. At the end of season one, we saw our girl Emily stuck in the middle of not one, but two love triangles — of course, season two is no different.

In true Emily in Paris fashion, fans were left with a massive cliffhanger at the end of season two. The finale probably has your mind spiraling with questions about what Emily's future holds and if she'll stay in the City of Lights. Will Emily stay at Savoir?

There's no telling on whether Emily will stay at Savoir or lead the "French revolution" of the advertising world with Sylvie, Luc, and Julien. At the end of season 2, she's faced with a decision: work her way up Savoir and the Gilbert Group (the whole reason she's in Paris to begin with) or join Sylvie, Luc and Julien's new agency.

If she stays at Savoir with her Chicago boss, Madeline, she’ll most likely get the promotion she’s been working towards for years. But if she takes a risk by joining her Parisian colleagues, she may have more opportunities to explore her talents. The last moment of the episode ends with Emily making a call to Sylvie with her decision — we just don't hear what it is. If she wants to have a longer stay in the City of Lights, it may make sense to join Sylvie's new agency and make the move permanent.

Did she choose Alfie or Gabriel?

As mentioned earlier, there's quite a conflict in Emily's love life throughout season 2. In the beginning, her entanglement with Gabriel took a turn for the worse, causing her to lose her chance with Mathieu and betray her friendship with Camille (sooo messy). In an attempt to move on from the situation, Emily found romance with her hot British classmate from French class. The resulting love triangle between Emily, Gabriel and Alfie makes for some truly incredible television.

Toward the end of the season, Alfie has his suspicions about Gabriel but stays with Emily anyway. When Alfie proposes a long-distance relationship, Emily realizes she's still in love with Gabriel. When she confesses her feelings, Emily finds out that Gabriel and Camille are back on

Emily lost her shot with Gabriel (for now, anyway), so she could choose to pursue a long distance relationship with Alfie.
