Hallmark's new movie, Christmas Wonderland, stars Emily Osment as a woman who left her small town to pursue her dream of becoming a successful painter, but has since put her own creativity on hold. Returning home for Christmas, she reunites with her high school sweetheart, and gets back in touch with her true passion. To celebrate the release of Christmas Wonderland, here are a few key things to know about the 26-year-old actress.

She got her start on the Disney Channel.

One of Emily's earliest roles (and the role she’s still best known for), was that of Lilly Truscott on the Miley Cyrus-starring Disney Channel classic Hannah Montana. As the best friend of Miley Stewart, Lilly is a main character in both the show and in 2009’s Hannah Montana: The Movie.

But even before her Hannah Montana years, Emily had a few significant credits to her name, having co-starred as Gerti Giggles in both Spy Kids sequels: 2002’s Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams and 2003’s Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over.

She has a very famous sibling.

Emily's older brother is actor Haley Joel Osment, who became internationally recognizable at just 11 years old for his starring role-and his iconic "I see dead people" speech-in The Sixth Sense. Haley is still acting today, and his recent projects include HBO's Silicon Valley and Fox's reboot of The X-Files.

You’ve definitely seen her on TV before.

Though she’s only 26, Emily has appeared in an impressive number of beloved shows, including Friends, Two and a Half Men and the CBS comedy Mom. Most recently, she played a recurring role in the Netflix comedy series The Kominsky Method, which stars Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin and is produced by legendary Two and a Half Men executive producer Chuck Lorre.

She’s also a musician.

Emily has been making music for almost as long as she’s been acting, and recorded several songs for Disney Channel soundtracks. In 2009, she first signed with Wind-Up Records and released her first single, "All The Way Up." According to Just Jared, the soundtrack to Christmas Wonderland will feature a new original song from her band.
