Are you ready to see the most beautiful stove you've ever seen in your life? Like ever ever? Because it exists, we've found it, and no surprise-it's an Emily Henderson project. If you've been following the sneak peaks of her new Portland project, you know it's really good, but the kitchen has to be the best reveal yet.

There's literally nothing Emily Henderson does that we don't like, but she's outdone even herself this time with a stove so hot, it's NSFW. We told you last month that the designer partnered with her brother to renovate a house he bought with his wife in Portland, Oregon (an $850k flip, BTW), and after spending nine months gutting, expanding, and bringing all the charm and character to the property, it's finally done, and we're getting a look at every room inside.

But this kitchen. Let's talk about this kitchen. First, there's the color palette. Green is a bold choice in a kitchen, but if anyone can pull it off, it's Henderson. "In a way, it was process of elimination: I’ve painted a lot of kitchens blue, gray is sad in Oregon, and a bright, warm tone is out of the question for something you are trying to sell-like pink, red, orange, etc.-so it really left green or white," Emily explained. "I wanted to pull your eye into the room, which a dark tone does." (Spoiler: She went with Pewter Green by Sherwin Williams).

Then we've got the details. Subway tile, we will never not love you, the black and gold geometric lighting is super sexy, there's brass hardware, and an island that doubles as a dining nook, with industrial-style chairs. The overall aesthetic is, as Henderson calls it, the "perfect mix of classic + modern, happy + sophisticated, contemporary + timeless with enough special moments that take it from standard to special". She even added extra swoon-factor thanks to marble on the countertops and island. "I know marble is a lifestyle choice, [but] it’s one that I will make over and over," Henderson says. Amen.

The obvious focal point of this kitchen, though, is the stove. From Bertazzoni’s Heritage Series, it's insanely wide at 48 inches, has six gas burners and an electric griddle, and features black with chrome. Though it comes with a hood, Henderson cleverly hid it inside the cabinetry.
