Emily Blunt made quite the entrance during her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The 39-year-old A Quiet Place actress wore an all-white blazer, crop top, and pants paired with a bold red lip. Oh, and her abs were pretty epic.

Emily joined Stephen on Thursday to talk about her new series The English, which premiered Friday on Prime Video. The show, also starring Chaske Spencer, takes place in the 1890s and follows the story of a woman who seeks revenge following the death of her son.

Emily revealed that while she was doing a lot of behind-the-scenes work as executive producer, she also had to do three months of horseback riding to prepare for the show.

ICYDK, Emily is totally game when it comes to training hard for her shows and films. And although she hasn't said much about her fitness regimen in recent years, her trainer previously shared the workouts that got her ready for the 2014 film Edge Of Tomorrow.

For starters, she does an hour of non-stop movement based on her trainer Monique Eastwood's own EMM (Eastwood Movement Method) classes. The workout usually consists of four sessions of HIIT and bodyweight exercises using resistance bands followed by ballet-style moves and stretching.

She'll do ten reps of wide-leg deep squats with single-arm circles, wide-leg squats pulses, low squats with leg kicks, pliés into a curtsey with rotation, plié pulses, and 25 reps of narrow squat jumps into a wide plié.

If that sounds like a lot to you, it is. But Eastwood says that Emily doesn't shy away from a challenge.

"She regularly says. ‘Oh god, Monique No!’ but then goes ahead and does the work or extra reps anyway. We do like to laugh a lot during our sessions, she likes to rebel, but I always win her over!" she told Women's Health UK.

"For Emily, it’s all about balance," Eastwood added. "She loves to stay fit so that she can play hard too! She really enjoys eating and drinking with friends, but she understands what is required for her to stay active and fit."

BRB, leg day is calling my name!
