Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Are the Chicest Couple on the Golden Globes Red Carpet
John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, A Quiet Place costars and mutually-adoring husband and wife, just arrived on the Golden Globes red carpet to begin their award season run for their projects this year. A Quiet Place has one nominations tonight, while Blunt has her own best actress nomination in a musical/comedy for Mary Poppins Returns. Blunt went very Hollywood starlet in her lace silver dress while Krasinski complemented her in his tuxedo.
But of course, what was equally visible during their red carpet posing is their love for each other. Krasinski and Blunt looked sweet in their joint photos together:
But it's not like this is the first time they've been like that, even on the Golden Globes red carpet:
This is Blunt and Krasinski's third Golden Globes together. They've previously attended the show in 2015, where Blunt wore a white Michael Kors Collection gown with her hair up in a bun in very Grecian goddess-esque look. She accessorized with turquoise earrings:
In 2013, the couple made their Golden Globes debut together. While Krasinski stuck to the classic black tuxedo with a black bowtie, Blunt wore a gold lace Michael Kors Collection column gown with a waist cutout. She wore her hair up and had on big ruby statement earrings to complete her outfit. Krasinski, notably, was clean-shaven then:
Ahead of tonight's Golden Globes, Krasinski gushed a little about Blunt in an interview he did on A Quiet Place with Gold Derby. Krasinski told the publication that when he was working on the script, he wrote the part with her in mind. "It’s funny, when I started rewriting I only wrote for her," he said. "I knew that she was the only person I could envision doing the role, not only as an actress but I was basing it on much of who Emily is as a person, her strength, her warmth, her love, her kindness."
