Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Attend the 2024 Golden Globes

A fan-favorite celebrity couple has arrived at the 81st Golden Globe Awards. Emily Blunt and John Krasinksi looked great and very couply while posing for the cameras on the red carpet.

Blunt wore a stunning embroidered gown with a transparent skirt. She wore her blond hair styled up, and her makeup was kept minimal and natural-looking. The Oppenheimer actress is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture. Blunt’s last Golden Globes win was back in 2007, when she won Best Supporting Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television for her role of Natasha in Gideon’s Daughter.

Krasinski wore a red suit jacket and pants with a matching red pinstripe.

In a July 2023 interview with E! News, Matt Damon, who plays Lt. Gen. Leslie Groves in Oppenheimer, and Blunt (who happen to be neighbors in real life) revealed how one of Krasinski’s elevator rides helped Blunt secure her role in the film.

“He [director Christopher Nolan] came to our apartment building to meet with me, and he already knew that he was gonna go to Emily with the other part,” Damon explained. “But he literally didn’t because he didn’t want to seem like he was only going to one building to cast the entire movie.”

According to Blunt, that was the moment when Krasinski ran into him in the elevator.

“And he [Nolan] said, ‘I was about to come to you for the part, but I didn’t want it to be offensive. Oh, by the way, while you’re here, give this to your wife.’”
