Emilia Clarke Just Slayed in a Sheer Dior Dress at the Emmys
Emilia Clarke went for dark romance at this year's Emmy Awards, stepping out in a black, sheer lace dress by Dior covered patches of floral embroidery. For some sparkle, she accessorized with Fernando Jorge dangling earrings (made of nephrite jade, yellow gold and diamonds) and rings.
She kept her hair in a sleek, low bun, with her Khaleesi-blonde highlights transitioning into her brunette roots.
Clarke shared her Emmys prep on Instagram before hitting the red carpet. First came a selfie showing the actress in a button-down top with her makeup done. "It’s that time of year folks... need to drop this shameless selfie to give thanks to the village/town/entire continent it takes to make me feel like a damn KWEEN on the red carpet," she wrote.
"Tomorrow morning I will look like a spade found my face en route to the bush my hair ended up in," she added.

Then she shared the big reveal of her gown. "YUP. My people did good.

Clarke recently said goodbye to Game of Thrones, after wrapping up filming its eighth and final season this summer. Although the HBO hit doesn't return until 2019, the actress posted a heartfelt note to the show in June.
"Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade," she posted on Instagram. "It’s been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing #💔#lastseasonitis."
