Emilia Clarke is no stranger to frosty magical worlds, though the one she's channelling right now is a bit more festive than Westeros. Tapping into an aesthetic that was coined 'Sugar Plum Fairy Makeup' by none other than Miss Strawberry Girl Summer / glazed doughnut herself, Hailey Bieber, Emilia wore the prettiest frosted pink makeup for a charity event in London.
Attending the Mind Charity and Same You Org event in the freezing cold capital, Emilia wore plenty of pink blush for a flushed look, while her eyes were frosted with a dusting of white-pink shimmer. With the fluffy brow and bitten every-so-slightly over-lined lip, the aesthetic was complete. It's kind of like an elevated take on last year's cold girl aesthetic.
This look was the work of celebrity makeup artist Naoko Scintu. The British artist is one of Emilia's go-to's, whose international client list is naturally particularly juicy when it comes to local British huns; Jodie Comer, Daisy Edgar Jones, Pheobe Dynevor, Lydia West – need I say more?
It's not even been two weeks since Hailey posted the beauty look to TikTok writing: "When I was 16 I was the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker.. this is my 2023 version of that makeup. My go to vibe for the holiday season! 🍬✨". Right in time for any shimmering, frosted, party season look to be dubbed 'Sugar Plum Fairy', it's genius really.
