SNL Predicts Netflix's Endless Stream of Reboots and Bad Movies for 2019

None of us can escape.

Netflix's original content is a pretty broad sample in terms of quality. You've got everything from provocative, edgy horror movies, like Cam, to why-the-f-k-are-they-making-this stuff, like a live-action Cowboy Bebop. It's a safe bet thattheir strategy is just to produce so much that they'll get their hands on something great just by the law of averages.

But, you may wonder, where does that end? The answer, according to SNL, is a pure content singularity, the endless stream of shows and movies that's already refreshed long before you reach what you thought was the end. It's not just a matter of approving every half-cocked pitch they hear: It's also about bringing shows back from the dead.

For fans of the super-dark reboot of Sabrina, there's the gratuitously gritty new Family Matters, just called Officer Winslow. And they're even rebooting their own shows, sending Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth back to high school in Saved by the Crown.

Also, these are obviously all fake and terrible ideas, but some producer needs to actually make the Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee re-launch, Leslie Jones in a Van Buying Batteries, ASAP.
