Euphoria’s Barbie Ferreira Stars in Torrid’s New Short Film Series

In Barbie’s Torrid Stories, she gets locked out of her apartment in her lingerie. See how she handles it.

What would you do if you got locked out of your place while wearing lingerie? We’d go crazy, but Barbie Ferreira knows how to handle it.

In her first video series with plus-size brand Torrid, this is exactly what happens.The model and actress known for her role as Kat Hernandez in Euphoria stars in a short film that embodies what it means to be confident. In the first part of a four part series, TORRID Stories, Barbie is flaunting her curves in sultry red lingerie surrounded by her holiday decor as her doorbell rings. She prances to the door to pick up a package and any girls worst nightmare came true: she got locked.

While the scene is super embarrassing, Barbie’s confidence shines so bright that we forget she’s actually dealing with such a horrific moment. But that doesn’t mean she hasn’t had moments where she didn’t keep her cool. She went down memory lane and told Teen Vogue about her most embarrassing moment. “God, I just remember this one appearance I had, my makeup was like a little bit too light and someone told me I looked like Kelly Osborne in this one photo from 2003 and it was like emo girl. Half of me was like ‘Yes,’ and half of me was like, ‘Okay, maybe I should have checked my makeup again,’” Barbie says.

She also told Teen Vogue that she feels most beautiful “when she’s not wearing a lot of makeup, has messy hair, and is wearing something really comfortable and cool.” That’s confidence, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like stepping out for a major style moment. Her personal style is a lot like her Euphoria character Kat. “I think Kat and I have very similar tastes, just maybe a little more latex on Kat's side,” she says. Not only is latex a signature part of her style, but Barbie loves leather harnesses, “I remember when I first found out about them [as a teen] and started wearing them.” She’s living proof that while your most confident moment may be in sweatpants, there’s nothing wrong with stunting every now and then.
