We don't know much about acting, but we can only guess it could be a tough job. Between the early wake up calls, press interviews, and red carpet events, a lot goes into the success of a film. Now, add the pressure of portraying an iconic figure like THE Elvis Presley and we can only imagine the work that goes into getting the story right.

Austin Butler's performance in the upcoming Baz Luhrman biopic that's simply titled Elvis has already earned a 12-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival. As one of this year's most talked about films, fans were curious to see what Elvis's family thought about the film's portrayal of the "Burning Love" singer because after everything is said and done, getting the relatives' blessing is the real win.

Elvis' daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, revealed what she really thought about the film that hit theaters on June 24, and she didn't hold back. Priscilla Presley previously shared her thoughts about her late husband's film and like her mother, Lisa poured so much emotion into her review of the film about her late father.

She began by explaining her social media hiatus as she mourns the loss of one of her sons. "Not much else aside from my other 3 children gets my time and attention anymore," Lisa said. "However, that being said, I do want to take a moment to let you know that I have seen Baz Luhrmann's movie 'Elvis' twice now, and let me tell you that it is nothing short of spectacular. Absolutely exquisite," she continued.

Lisa shared her praises for Butler's performance as Elvis and even joked that, "If he doesn’t get an Oscar for this, [she] will eat [her] own foot." The only thing she would have changed about Elvis? She just wishes her father was alive to see it because she believes that the "Hound Dog" singer would have given it two thumbs up.

We know the film will quickly become one of our new favorites!
