Elvis is, once again, the name on everyone's lips. While the King of Rock and Roll died 45 years ago, his legacy lives on through his songs as well as his impact on music and culture (he is the bestselling solo recording artist of all time, after all). With a biopic movie, titled Elvis, out on June 24, comes a timely new fragrance collection. The perfumes for him and her took fragrance notes from Elvis and Priscilla's signature scents to create the blends. The collection graces HSN, exclusively, starting on June 19 and will be on sale for $58.50 each (down from $65).

The "Hound Dog" singer's scent — like its source of inspiration — is unique and memorable. The initial impression is much lighter than expected for a woody fragrance with fresh notes such as lemon, mint and pink pepper. Middle notes of ginger, nutmeg and jasmine (a tie to the Legend for Her scent) ease the transition to the deeper base notes of cedar, sandalwood, incense and musk. This spicy, distinctive scent is influenced by the colognes that Elvis wore (Brut and Canoe).
Floral scents can be a bit polarizing — too sweet or too simplistic and you've lost the wow factor. This perfume strikes a balance of blooming yet complex with a layer of freshness. A wave of jasmine is the leading lady of this scent, followed by tuberose and rangoon creeper, a honeysuckle-like plant. A homage to the powerful woman that is Priscilla Presley, this mix is reminiscent of the perfumes that she wore and the flowers that Elvis used to give her.
This is the second Elvis collection for HSN — Forever for Him and Forever for Her were lighter blends than Legend.
The custom Legend bottles also hide nods to the star. The blue suede shoes and blush pink-colored bottles look sleek and modern at first glance. But upon closer inspection, they reveal an Elvis figurine with a guitar in his signature pose on the lid. Both bottles are top of the vanity candy.
