Harlow starts a trend that takes over the world in Doritos' new commercial.

Jack Harlow and Elton John are competing for the spotlight in a world that's obsessed with the triangle in the hilarious new Doritos commercial.

Doritos has finally released the full version of their 2023 Super Bowl LVII commercial, which got some star power from the likes of John, Harlow, and Missy Elliot.

The brand teased several snippets leading up to the commercial, titled Jack's New Angle, which will play during Sunday's game, and depicts Harlow "showing fans what’s possible when they experiment and TRY ANOTHER ANGLE."

When Harlow has trouble coming up with his next hit, he gets inspired by the triangle instrument—also the shape of a Dorito, and soon it takes over the world, with radio personality and producer, Sway Calloway and his co-anchor Heather B. making a surprise appearance to say, "Jack Harlow did it again."

The triangle even inspires crazy fashion and a trendy perfume. But when the award for Triangle Player of the Year comes up, Harlow is upstaged by someone else–none other than Elton John–who sweeps the rug out from under him and takes home the award.

Doritos also created the #DoritosTriangleTryout TikTok challenge in January to find someone to appear in the commercial, and Angelita Yadao-Payad from Hawaii won, so keep a lookout for a new face in the video.

The Doritos commercial also showcases a brand-new flavor, the Sweet & Tangy BBQ, which launched in January.

Doritos included more details in a press release shared with Parade, revealing that "Doritos will be the first brand to ever re-create its Super Bowl commercial in the Metaverse, offering fans the opportunity to produce and record their own musical triangle-inspired beats inside Decentraland at Doritos Triangle Studios for the chance to win epic prizes."

The brand will also be doing a promotion on Twitter during the game called the Doritos Triangle Scheme, which could land you the $25,000 grand prize, along with other triangle-themed prizes.
