The Tesla CEO likes to start his day off with a sugar-filled treat.

Elon Musk might be one of the biggest bigwigs in the corporate world, but his breakfast order is less nutritious than you would expect.

The Twitter CEO recently divulged some details about his morning routine, revealing that he indulges in a donut every single morning.

It all started when Peter Diamandis, one of the founding partners of the healthcare company Fountain Life, tweeted earlier this week that "sugar is poison."

Musk, taking a whack at debunking the theory, replied to the message to say, "I eat a donut every morning. Still alive."

Diamandis then clarified what he meant in a follow-up tweet that read, "Okay Elon, allow me to be more specific. Sugar is a slooow poison," though the SpaceX founder didn't bother to send out another reply.

Hopefully, his mother, Maye Musk, didn't see the new thread of tweets about his daily donut, as she previously worked as a registered dietitian for 45 years.

But it's not the first time that Musk has admitted to having some unhealthy eating habits, as he previously told Joe Rogan in a podcast interview, "I'd rather eat tasty food and live a shorter life," per CNBC.

And he's definitely not alone in that sentiment, as other business head honchos have also confessed to strange eating habits, including Warren Buffet, who previously said he drinks at least five cans of Coca-Cola a day, as reported by Fortune. He is also known to make up a good portion of his diet with McDonald's hamburgers and Oreo cookies, according to his friend and fellow billionaire, Bill Gates.
