Elon Musk’s Latest Outing With Son X Shows His & Grimes Wildly Different Parenting Rules

Despite Elon Musk and Grimes seeming like a match made in heaven when they first got together, it’s quite obvious how different they are when it comes to parenting. Like many celebrities, Grimes likes to keep her and Musk’s three kids out of the spotlight as much as possible, but Musk’s latest outing shows that he does not care about that at all, which makes it especially more awkward considering there is such a lengthy, messy custody battle taking place.
On March 13th, Musk was seen with his and Grimes’s eldest child X Æ A-Xii (pronounced X Ash Archangel Twelve), holding his hand and carrying him around at the Tesla Gigafactory in Germany, in photos obtained by Page Six. This was the latest outing that he and X have taken since Grimes’s court filing, and it shows a lot about how the two prefer to parent.

In 2023, Grimes filed for parental rights for their three children. Musk never formally responded to this, and has allegedly been dodging the numerous attempts that Grimes and her team have made to serve him custody papers.
While Musk seemingly doesn’t care about having his kids in the spotlight, Grimes has been very private about their children, only posting about their daughter once in the past few years.
Grimes and Musk dated back in 2018, and had an on-again, off-again relationship until 2022.
They welcomed two children together: a son named X Æ A-Xii (better known as X), born in May 2020, a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, born in Dec 2021, and another son named Techno Mechanicus, whom they all welcomed via surrogacy.
