Elon Musk and Grimes “Experienced Ups and Downs” During Her Pregnancy
Elon Musk and Grimes have apparently had their fair share of relationship problems.
It sounds like most of those issues happened during Grimes’s pregnancy.
Elon Musk and Grimes might seem like an unconventional couple, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have relationship problems like the rest of us! Whether it’s publicly disagreeing about the pronunciation of their baby boy’s name, X Æ A-12 Musk, or having the occasional lovers’ quarrel, they get fed up with one another from time to time…probably even more so while Grimes was pregnant.
According to an Us Weekly source, Elon and Grimes’s relationship was pretty rocky while she was carrying their son. “Elon and Grimes have experienced a lot of ups and downs in their relationship throughout Grimes’s pregnancy and have been on and off,” the source revealed. “Through it all, though, they have and will continue to maintain a close friendship.”
It seems like things between them are okay now—see: Elon calling Grimes a faerie queen after calling out her Twitter typo—but even if they did break up at some point, Elon has every intention of being a huge part of their son’s life. “Regardless of what happens to them romantically, Elon plans to be a father figure and be involved in the life of his child,” the source added.
I know that Grimes and Elon’s baby news has suddenly turned them both into major internet celebrities, but they’ve been dating for about two years now after sharing a mutual interest in an artificial intelligence joke. They’re usually not very public, and TBH, the attention still freaks Grimes out from time to time.
“No one believes me about this, but I just did not understand what I was getting into at all,” she said in her Rolling Stone interview. “Not that I’m mad about it. I just didn’t think [the attention] would be a thing. The shit that’s happened with my boyfriend this year has overwritten so much of my life’s work.”
