Ellen Pompeo Posted a "Hot" Instagram Video and 'Grey's Anatomy' Fans Can't Stop Staring

Ellen Pompeo has re-emerged on Instagram, but it's not for the reason Grey's Anatomy fans might have been expecting.

Two months after the longtime ABC actress announced her exit from the hit medical drama, she gave folks a rare look of what life has been like behind the scenes. In a minute-long video, Ellen appeared to stand in front of a mirror wearing a brown sweatshirt and her hair slicked back into a ponytail. The casual outfit was elevated when she began applying mascara and lip products as she got herself ready for the day.

"Don’t sleep on middle aged moms … " the 53 year old captioned the clip on January 6, referencing being a parent to her three children with husband Chris Ivery, 54: Stella, 13, Sienna, 8, and Eli, 6.

Despite the fact that the actress' latest post had nothing to do with Grey's Anatomy, it certainly didn't stop her followers from commenting on it. What's more, they felt Ellen should try her hand at doing something completely different than her current day job.

"Bye doctor era , hi make up influencer eraaaa," one person wrote on Instagram. "She’s so hot and funny she doesn’t even try it 😂😂😂😂," a different follower said. "I am melting holy 🥵🔥❤️," another added.

Needless to say, life after Grey's Anatomy looks good on Ellen. While viewers are still upset about her saying goodbye to her character Meredith Grey, there's still some time before the mid-season premiere airs on February 23.

Speaking of Ellen's final episode, fans got to see a snippet of what Meredith's last day will be like. The show recently dropped a teaser trailer in which viewers can hear the chief of surgery recall how wonderful Grey Sloan has been to her.

"This is where I learned to be a doctor," she began amid a montage of moments from the last 19 seasons. "This is the place where I found my family, the place where I fell in love."

But it is the words of Dr. Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) that sum up all of our thoughts in one sentence: "There is no one like her."
