It’s not often that you see Ellen DeGeneres taking time off from filming her show for some R&R with her wife, Portia de Rossi. But when she does, you can only hope that it results in a stunning makeup-free selfie like this.

Taking to Instagram to wish followers a “Happy Spring Break,” DeGeneres posted a photo of herself and de Rossi on the beach. While the scenery is enviable as is, their fresh-faced beauty is just as striking — and to some, inspirational. “Happy faces, happy heart,” a fan commented on the photo, while another wrote, “Two beautiful women completing each other. A fabulous thing.”
The couple has been married since 2008, but DeGeneres usually only shares on-camera moments with de Rossi when her wife appears on her daytime talk show. Otherwise, snippets from their life at home are limited to de Rossi’s Instagram. Back in July, the 45-year-old actress shared a similar makeup-free photo of herself and DeGeneres on their summer vacation. More recently, de Rossi posted photos of DeGeneres from her 60th birthday in January.
