Elizabeth Warren Revealed Her Very Accessible Skin-Care Routine
Since announcing her run to be the Democratic presidential candidate, Senator Elizabeth Warren has made headlines for many pressing issues including taxes, education, and health care. Now, however, Warren is in the news for a very different reason: her skin-care routine.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, editor in chief Jessica Pels asked Senator Warren about her daily skin-care routine and the response was shocking (well, at least to us skin-care fanatics it was!). Warren shared that she's a die-hard supporter and user of Pond's Moisturizer. "Every morning, every night," she told Pels. Yet the next part is the more shocking statement: "And I never wash my face."
Yes, you read that right. Pond's Moisturizer must be truly incredible if Senator Warren can still have good skin without washing her face! Pels then stated that that's a very French routine to have, to which Senator Warren then explained the reasoning to her madness decision:
"So I have—had, she’s passed now—but a much older cousin named Tootsie. Years ago, I was, I guess probably somewhere in my 20s, and we’re at a big family reunion. And Tootsie was beautiful. I looked over at her, and I said, 'Toots, how do you have such gorgeous skin?' She said, 'Pond’s Moisturizer every morning, every night, and never wash your face.' So from Tootsie to me to you."
Well, then! Who can argue with that? Looking like I'm about to buy some stock in Pond's Moisturizer. Thanks for the tip, Senator Warren!
