When Elizabeth Hurley stepped out in Versace's safety pin dress in 1994, it instantly became one of the most iconic red-carpet looks of all time. Now, 25 years later, her son, Damian Hurley, is paying homage to the memorable look by re-creating it himself.

The 17-year-old model, who stars in the latest beauty campaign for Pat McGrath Labs, attended an event for the brand in London. For the occasion, he wore the suit version of his mom's famous '90s look: a black Versace blazer featuring a row of gold safety pin details.

Earlier this year, Elizabeth re-wore an updated version of the Versace dress herself for the April issue of Harper's BAZAAR. She recalled how wearing the original look to the 1994 premiere of Four Weddings and a Funeral with Hugh Grant changed her life forever. "I was so unprepared for what happened that night," she told BAZAAR. That one dress immediately helped to kick-start her entire career—leading to landing an Estée Lauder campaign and several acting roles to follow.

And just like his mom, Damian opted to channel the Versace safety pin look at the start of his own career. New to the modeling world, Damian's first beauty campaign for Pat McGrath debuted just last week. In the images, the teenager bears a resemblance to his famous mom—and even seemed to inherit her luscious locks.

Previously, Damian also dabbled in acting, landing a brief guest role on E's The Royals with his mom.
