Elizabeth Hurley is prioritizing her wellness more than ever. In a Feb. 21 Instagram post, the actress shared that she recently traveled to Austria to reboot her health—and experienced some unexpected benefits along the way.

"I had a most instructive and informative week in Austria,” she captioned the post, alongside a series of images of the star happily posing in a onesie. “I went to give my digestion a reboot, attempt to learn how to better deal with stress, and be kinder to my body’s various injuries (all of which I sustained filming—movies are not for the faint of heart).”

And, even though the 58-year-old “didn’t go to lose weight," she revealed she "lost a few pounds anyway." The Gossip Girl alum visited VivaMayr, a clinic and health spa also frequented by the likes of Nicole Kidman and Kate Moss.

Now that she’s back to the United Kingdom, Elizabeth said she feels "more energized" and "committed to trying to be [her] healthiest self." To that end, she noted that she's also "swigging less coffee, stretching more, and chewing my food."

Fans cheered on her latest health revelations in the comments. “You need to stop. You're ruining it for 25 years olds,” one follower hilariously wrote. “You are without question one of the most inspirational and outrageously beautiful people in existence,” another said.

This is hardly Elizabeth’s only trip to Austria for her health. In early February, she announced that she was headed back to the clinic, which she first began attending in 2010. This time, she hoped “to learn more about trying to get as healthy as possible.”

Wellness, both physical and mental, has always been a priority for Elizabeth. In 2022, she opened up to Women’s Health about sustaining an injury while filming Christmas in the Caribbean, which included tearing all of the ligaments in her ankle. "For the last two weeks of the movie, I had to do all my scenes sitting down, and I had to be carried everywhere,” she said. “And I had a wheelchair. In fact, my ankle's not completely better now. I know that at some stage, I need to have an operation, which will put me off my feet again for three months."

But, the star didn't let the accident affect her mental health, sharing that the injury made her "aware" and "incredibly humble and sensitive" to those who live with various disabilities.

On the topic of her physical health, Elizabeth told WH that she tries to nourish her body without snacking. “I try really hard to eat three times a day," she said. "I think the concept of snacking and grazing throughout the day is terrible for people's digestion. I think you need to eat and then give your body time to digest, use that food, and completely empty."

She also makes a point to take care of herself, especially with trips like her most recent one. “We always tend to put ourselves on the bottom of the priority list of what we have to do. And I think there is a real movement now to try to encourage women to value themselves and value their own health and wellbeing," she said. "It's not self-indulgent. It's vital.”
