In case it matters, the photographer behind Elizabeth Hurley’s latest set of steamy photos is her elderly mother — not her teenage son.

“Far be it for me to suggest the tabloids get their facts muddled, but these pics were in fact taken by my 80 year old mother,” the actress, 55, tweeted Tuesday, sharing two photos of herself wearing white bikini bottoms and an unfastened brown-and-white sweater. “Not entirely sure if that puts minds at rest or not.”

On Monday, Hurley had posted the photos, taken in a snowy location, to both Instagram and Twitter, sparking adoration over her flawless appearance. But after Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan reportedly called the photos “thirsty “and “creepy,” speculating that Hurley’s 18-year-old son was behind the lens, she responded, without dropping Morgan’s name.

Hurley’s son Damian (whose father is the late film producer Steve Bing), is a professional model. But he’s also played cameraman for his mom’s signature bikini shoots that often promote her Elizabeth Hurley Beach swimsuit line. But in 2018, after a BBC host called the arrangement “odd,” Hurley jumped to explain.

“Here’s the thing, he doesn’t take all my bikini photos, by the way,” Hurley said during a taping of Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live After Show. “Some of them are professional, some of them are my sister, anybody who I can get.”

She added, “When we’re on holiday together, sure he’ll take some pictures. And you know, he’s got a really good eye and he’s studying photography and it’s ridiculous.”

Hurley’s mother, whose name is Angela, isn’t always behind the camera — in April, on her 80th birthday, the actress smiled for a photo with her “glorious mummy” while quarantined with her family in England.

Many of Hurley’s followers got a kick out of the confession. “I don’t really care who took them tbh. You look absolutely fabulous,” wrote one.

“Don't care if they was taken by your 90 year old gardener, [they’re] great,” wrote another.
