On June 10, Elizabeth Hurley turned 58, and she celebrated in the best way she knows how—by posting a swimsuit selfie.
In a switch-up from her usual poised poses she shares while modeling her swimwear line, Elizabeth Hurley Beach, the actress’ birthday post was a candid that showed her excitement for reaching a new milestone.
In the shot, she stands in the ocean with her hands above her head, jumping for joy while wearing oversized shades and a royal blue string swimsuit embellished with silver accents. “Happy Birthday to meeeee 💗💗,” she captioned the post.

If you follow Hurley on Instagram, you know that her age doesn’t keep her away from a two-piece—or sharing photos wearing one.
“Yes, I still wear swimsuits on holidays and because I’ve got a swimsuit company, I’m happy to share those pictures,” she told Yahoo! Life last year. “But expect if I didn’t have a swimsuit company, I probably wouldn’t share these pictures. As it happens, but I’m very comfortable doing that.” In a 2021 interview with the outlet, she reflected on the support she’s received on her many swimsuit posts, which she finds empowering.
“I think women definitely like that I’m not hiding just because I’m over 50,” she said. “And I just think it’s pretty tough if women think they have to cover up because we’re not in our 20s anymore and perfect.”
She’s not ignorant to the negativity she gets as well, but she doesn’t let it stop her from sharing.
“There’s plenty of women my age who really love going on vacation, prancing around the beach, wearing whatever they want to wear and not being afraid of other people making sneering comments,” she said.
As for her 58th birthday celebration activities, Hurley delighted in simple joys: cake, time with family, and puppies, of course. She shared a gallery of snapshots from the gatherings, writing, “Family, friends & doggies- perfect weekend 💗.”
Her 21-year-old son, Damian, also wished her a happy birthday with a sweet post in which she wore her unofficial uniform: a white swimsuit. Hurley commented on the post: “I love my baby ❤️❤️.”
