Elizabeth Hurley had an interesting accessory for a night out in London: a gold winglike headpiece.

Don’t worry, she hasn’t gone fashion-mad; it was a themed outfit for the Animal Ball 2016, and everyone was wearing outrageous getups. Costumed revelers descended upon multiple charity events throughout London to raise money for wildlife conservation.

Hurley and her fellow animal lovers all wore matching crownlike hair accessories that featured what looked like bird wings sprouting from their heads. Hurley didn’t look at all uncomfortable; all that time spent in a crown on the set of The Royals must have made her a master at balancing ornate headpieces.

The 51-year-old paired the gold showstopper with a bright blue dress — which was fitting, since the event was at a restaurant called Sexy Fish. The tight, satin above-the-knee dress was sleeveless and supersultry, with a gathered neckline that featured her age-defying cleavage. She matched her crown, a piece of which hung in front of her eye, with strappy gold sandals and a gold box clutch, and her gorgeous brown locks were loose and wavy.

Hurley wasn’t the only celebrity dressed like an animal last night. Ellie Goulding dressed as a deer for a separate Animal Ball event. The singer paired deer horns that sprouted from a flower crown with a long, loose golden dress. And at one point in the evening, she had a costume change. No, not the dress, the headdress. She swapped the horns for an Indian-inspired colorful elephant trunk.

Both ladies make beautiful beasts.
